    As always the department is always looking for new members. Interested persons should stop by Fire Headquarters, Monday from 7:30-9:30pm or on Sunday from 8:00-12 noon, and ask for any Fire Officer.

    Membership Types
    Regular Member
    • Members who are ages 18 and older who currently hold a State of New Jersey Firefighter I Certification or are willing to obtain this certification
    • Basic training is held at the Bergen County Fire Academy
    Day Member
    • Members who are ages 18 and older who currently hold a State of New Jersey Firefighter I Certification or are willing to obtain this certification
    • Members who do not live in the Borough of Oradell but do work in the town and want to gain membership in the department.
    • Basic training is held at the Bergen County Fire Academy
    Junior/Auxiliary Member
    • Members of the department who are between the ages of 16-18 and are interested in the fire service.
    • Training is conducted in house by OFD Instructors and Officers.
    Cadet Member
    • Members of the department who are between the ages of 14-16 and are interested in the fire service.
    • Training is conducted in house by OFD Instructors and Officers.
