Information for Residents
Residents are not only reminded to test their detection equipment monthly, but also to change the batteries in this equipment every six (6) months. Alarm systems monitored by a central station, should have their alarm system serviced annually.
When any type of alarm activation does occur, all residents should evacuate their home, meet at their designated meeting location, and dial 9-1-1 to report the alarm from a safe location.
