5″ is here and it’s not April Fools

Today members of Oradell FD outfitted Engine 23 with 5″ supply hose.  A big departure from how we normally conduct business.  This is the first 5″ Engine in the Departments history.  We have never needed large diameter hose because of our proximity to the Water Pumping Facility but as a progressive Department we march on.

2nd Alarm Fire – Taylor Ave.

Fletcher Ave – Structure Fire

At 09:48 AM, the Oradell Fire Department was dispatched to the 600 block of Fletcher Avenue in Oradell for a structure fire.  At 09:50 AM, Car 203 arrived on scene and confirmed a working fire.  Engine 24 arriving shortly after, established a water supply, began extinguishing a fire in the garage area and checked for occupants in the […]

Crane Truck Crashes in Parking Lot

At 1PM today, Oradell Fire units were dispatched to the 600 block of Kinderkamack Road for a 10-wheel crane truck that had crashed and rolled over in a parking lot.  A large fuel spill resulted from the crash.  River Edge Fire, New Milford Fire, and Bergen County HazMat assisted on scene.
